What is the scanner?
The Scanner is an undergraduate academic journal, featuring a collection of essays concerning Nordic countries and cultures from all disciplines, peer-edited by the editorial board under the UBC Scandinavian and Nordic Students' Association. The goal is to facilitate well-rounded conversations of how Nordic voices are represented in various fields of studies.
Working for The Scanner as an editor would help you develop your editing skills. If you’d rather share your work with us, you’ll get the opportunity to be published in a student-led undergraduate academic journal, as well as familiarize yourself with a rigorous and productive editing process while working closely with one of your peers!
