The Scanner - Call for Submissions
The Scanner is the University of British Columbia’s premier undergraduate journal for Scandinavian and Nordic Studies, where we publish papers spanning a number of topics and disciplines, from history to literature to anthropology and more so long as they feature a strong focus on Scandinavia or Norden. We usually open for submissions in the fall for our yearly issue.

Membership information
To participate in our events, vote in our yearly election, and get first round free at Pub Nights, sign up to be a member of our club!
To sign up, pay the $5 CAD membership fee via one of the following methods:
1) Cash - Any of our Executives can accept the cash for a membership fee
2) E-Transfer - Send an e-transfer to [email protected] via your banking institution (there should be no password necessary)
