We are a passionate group of students who learn about, explore, and celebrate culture from the Nordic Regions. Some of us have ties to Nordic & Scandinavian culture, but many of us are just interested in learning and being part of this community.

Join the SNSA for our 20th annual Lucia! Every year, we host a Lucia performance with a choir of students who sing Swedish and Danish holiday carols. The choir members in white gowns carry candles to bring light to the darkness of winter and our Lucia adorns a crown of them. Our performance is free and open to everyone!
Come to the Normand Bouchard Memorial Theatre (6138 Student Union Blvd, inside the UBC Life Building) on Wednesday, December 4th to celebrate this wonderful time of year with a pre-performance fika (a time of mingling with light refreshments) and a spectacular performance! Doors open at 4:45 PM for fika and the performance begins at 5:30 PM; see you there!

To participate in our events, vote in our yearly election, and get first round free at Pub Nights, sign up to be a member of our club!

1) Cash - Any of our Executives can accept the cash for a membership fee
